Festool RSC 18 EB Cordless 18V Reciprocating Sabre Saw

The Festool RSC 18 cordless reciprocating saw is the perfect tool for heavy-duty sawing applications, thanks to its powerful and efficient brushless EC-TEC motor. With a battery voltage of 18 V, the saw can achieve a stroke rate of 0 - 3,000 min⁻¹ and a stroke length of 32.00 mm. The two-stage stroke rate limitation enables the cutting speed to be adjusted optimally to the material being sawn, while the pendulum stroke that can be engaged ensures maximum sawing progress. The max. pendulum stroke is 3.00 mm, allowing for faster cuts through thick materials.

The cutting depth in wood is an impressive 230.00 mm, while the cutting depth in metal profiles/tubes is 175.00 mm. The saw can handle a max. material strength (thickness) of 20.00 mm in metal, making it a versatile tool for a variety of materials. The saw blade is automatically ejected when the chuck is opened, so it can be replaced contactlessly. The saw blade can be changed quickly and easily without any risk from the sharp edges or hot blades.

The unique anti-vibration system reduces machine vibration by 40%, directing the full power into its saw blade and not into the machine or the user's arms. This reduces fatigue when working, prolongs the service life of the reciprocating saw, and increases sawing efficiency. The large variable speed trigger enables a smooth machine start-up and stepless stroke speed control for a pleasant sawing experience.

The saw blade range from Festool has the right saw blade for any application, whether it's wood, metal, or particularly abrasive and hard materials. The saw table can be locked in different positions, and the different loads on the saw blade thereby compensated for, to ensure maximum use of the saw blade.

In addition, the saw is equipped with a dust extraction device that can be attached to the saw without tools. Fine dust and sawing chips are extracted directly at the point of origin when the extractor is connected, providing a clean work area. The integrated LED provides optimal lighting of the work area, and the locking switch prevents the machine from being switched on unintentionally.

Weighing in at 4.10 kg, this saw is extremely robust and made for the toughest day-to-day applications at construction sites. To keep the saw and accessories organized and easily accessible, the RSC 18 can be neatly stored in the included Systainer, which is designed to protect the tools during transport and storage. The saw blade can also be installed rotated by 180°, enabling cuts up to the ceiling, wall, or floor. If flush sawing is required, flexible saw blades are the best option.
