The CTM MIDI I AC is the autoclean version of the CTM MIDI extractor. Where the standard MIDI handles general workshop dust, the AUTOCLEAN system on this model pulses air through the main filter on a set interval, dislodging dust and keeping the filter clear of the loading that otherwise robs an extractor of suction. For trades cutting fibre cement, sanding plasterboard, or working in any mineral-dust environment, that consistency in suction power is the difference between an extractor that holds vacuum for the whole job and one that needs the filter manually cleaned every hour.

M-class dust rating, 5-level adjustable suction power, and a smooth antistatic suction hose with conical geometry that slides over the workpiece without catching. Touch operation on the lid keeps controls simple. Integrated Bluetooth pairs the extractor with Festool cordless tools and the optional remote, so the extractor starts and stops automatically with the saw or sander. The automatic electrical outlet module does the same for corded tools. A locking brake holds the extractor steady on slopes or scaffolding, and the T-LOC coupling on the lid mounts a Systainer directly to the top for tool-and-extractor transport as a single piece.

The MIDI I AC is built for the trade reality where a hose-bound saw or sander is the right tool but high-dust material is the constraint: cement sheet, fibre cement, plasterboard, MDF, mineral panel.
