The Festool Rotex 150 (RO 150) geared 150mm (6") sander is an extraordinarily versatile sander. With the ability to switch between the Rotex random orbital mode for rough sanding, to the rotary mode for fine sanding, the Rotex 150 is suitable for almost all applications.

The stripping capabilities of the Rotex 150 are impressive even to seasoned professionals. When equipped with low grit sanding discs, the RO 150 can shred through rough sawn timber, paint, resin and other tough coatings with ease. When equipped with higher grits of sandpaper, and switched to fine sanding mode, the Rotex 150 can be come a delicate finishing sander capable of bringing your surfaces to a clean, fine finish.

RO 150 for Low Abrasives Consumption

When used in conjunction with Festool or similar abrasives, the Multi-Jetstream technology allows for lower abrasives consumption by actively cooling the sanding pad and disc, leading to longer service life. This also allows for stronger dust extraction by actively blowing air out of the sanding disc through some holes, then sucking it back up in to the dust extraction port.
